parakeets

so saturday we're heading down to starkville for lyd to buy a parakeet.. i might buy one also. what are y'alls opinions on that?

if i get a parakeet its name would be adlanna .. it means the ascent. kinda ironic, hmm?

my last parakeet (who came to a rather sad demise which still makes me laugh, i'm sorry, swampy :P) named Swamp Iris and unfortunately nicknamed Pinata by certain *dear* sisters of mine was my sweet wittle baby. lol. anyway!

lydia wants to teach her parakeet (who will be a guy ; she likes male pets o.O go figure) to talk.. we'll see how that goes. mostly i'm looking forward to having someone who is content to sit on my head while i read :P

and, this isn't a very commonly known fact, but parakeets have the most w o n d e r f u l feet :)

you probably think i'm insane, and you're probably right, so.. i'll leave now :P
